TYPE 1

REAR WINDOW CLIP ONLY


 

 You will need:
- Torx  keys,
- Pliers
- Flat Bladed Screwdriver.

See  pictures 1 to 10 on page 2 for inner trim panel removal.
1. Insert the Cable in one whole of the slider
2.Pull the slider towards the other cable end. Ask somebody else to squeeze both springs as shown on the picture.
3. Insert the other Cable End with pliers in to second whole from the top. It should look like this on the picture.

4. Insert the assembly through the aperture as shown. Please note the window clamp is already supported by wood block. See film below:

5. Using Torx Keys screw assembly into door inner panel.

6. Remove clamp supporting wood block, loosen one of the glass-to-regulator mounting nuts with spanner and by rotating, moving upwards and downwards carefully adjust clamp to slider's position. Than tighten this nut. There will be some angle between clamp and window glass.

 

7. Insert metal plate through threaded part of the slider from the other side of clamp, then spring washer and tighten with wing nut.
8. Connect wiring to the motor.
9. Please note the angle between Clamp and widow Glass (the glass bottom is in vertical position, the clamp is slightly angled)
10. Carefully lift inner trim Panel.
11.  Insert it in the weather-seal from the top.
12. Hook the inner cable.
13. Tighten the grip handle to the trim panel and attach the handle trim.
14. Connect remaining wiring and clip the trim.
15. Screw the trim retaining screw.
16. Clip the handle trim.
17. Screw all trim panel retaining screws.
